Job SummaryServes as a liaison between families, The Center’s staff personnel, The Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and other agencies charged with support to fragile families. Develops a positive relationship with individuals seeking services within Heights Suburban Collaborative program and provides high quality, responsive connection to resources and programs that address identified family need. Knowledge of community resources to aid in the ability the help families navigate large service system, to promote family stability and reduce the risk of child maltreatment. Job Qualifications Associate Degree in Human Services related filed required.Bachelor’s degree in Human Service related field preferred.Must be available to work flexible hours, which includes evenings and weekends.Must have working knowledge of the stages of individual growth and development and family dynamics.Must have a valid driver’s license in the State of Ohio.Must be able to identify suspected child abuse or neglect and report as a mandated reporter.No record of child abuse or moral turpitude as determined by background check based on fingerprints. Job Duties & Responsibilities Links Families and interested individuals to The Centers Integrated service model and community resources; provide linkages or make referrals according to need. Provide front desk and reception duties to support all aspects of the Heights Suburban Collaborative program.Provide staff support to the Foster Care Cluster as mandated in the contract deliverable.Maintains and organizes all supplies and program related purchases.Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Family and Children First Council Referral and Application process.Administratively responsible to maintain, organize and provide direct service support to the Monthly Collaborative meeting as mandated through the contract deliverable.Establish cooperative relationships with local agencies, businesses, and community organizations. Maintain current Community Partnership agreements. Identify and reach out to and support perspective Foster or Adoptive Parents to aid in licensure completion Other Job Duties Performs other duties as assigned.
