Join the team as a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician with our partner, a family-owned, world-class metal distributor located in Valley City.
This direct hire opportunity pays $30–$36/hour based on experience and includes mandatory overtime.

This is a full-time position. Hours are Sunday–Wednesday, 7:30 PM–6:30 AM, and 7:30–12:30 on Thursday. Enjoy double-time pay for working a sixth day!

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement timely repairs.
• Inspect and maintain production lines, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other equipment.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and address equipment-related challenges.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulations.
• Utilize tools, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with PLCs and automated systems.
• Knowledge of safety practices and protocols in an industrial setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, and work in various environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces).
• A maintenance assessment will be administered to all candidates.
