True Digital Communications is seeking an experienced and motivated Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll be at the forefront of client success—overseeing digital advertising, SEO, and analytics efforts, guiding strategy development, and mentoring our talented team. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Lead, you’ll work cross-functionally with our account service and creative teams to execute high-impact digital campaigns while keeping client goals front and center. We’re looking for someone who thrives in both strategic and hands-on work, enjoys solving problems, and is always looking for the next big idea in digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of customized marketing strategies tailored to client goals, including setting objectives, forecasting paid media budgets, and refining internal workflows.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor guiding staff through campaign setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of monthly and quarterly client reports.
  • Keep the team up to speed on emerging tools, AI trends, and platform best practices through ongoing training.
  • Manage external partners such as subcontractors, agencies, and software providers.
  • Review and approve monthly departmental media expenses.

Hands-On Digital Marketing Execution

  • Build and manage PPC/digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms and clients.
  • Conduct audience/keyword research, set up tracking and perform A/B testing to drive results.
  • Track KPIs and develop insightful dashboards and monthly reports that guide strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Plan and implement SEO strategies through comprehensive audits, technical improvements, and on-page optimizations.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing strategic insight and marketing expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure cohesive, results-driven campaigns across all channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 4-7 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Deep understanding of Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, Demand Gen, Shopping, and YouTube).
  • Proficient with paid social platforms—Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads; TikTok and Reddit are a plus.
  • Familiar with programmatic advertising (StackAdapt experience is a plus).
  • Experience in planning, executing, and managing multi-publication media buys.
  • SEO expertise including technical, on-page, and off-page strategy (SEMRush, Moz, SpyFu, etc.).
  • Strong data analysis and storytelling skills using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and Excel.
  • Familiar with setting up marketing automations using tools like Zapier, HubSpot, Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.
  • Familiar with Generative AI and tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products, expressly Excel and PowerPoint

Salary for position: $70k-$75k
