Are you an organized, creative, and detail-oriented professional who loves bringing people together and making a difference? Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) is seeking a Coordinator, Events and Program Support to join our dynamic team in downtown Cleveland. In this pivotal role, you’ll help plan and execute impactful events, deliver high-quality marketing and communications, and support programs that strengthen our region’s nonprofit and business communities.
What You’ll Do
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute BVU’s events — from seminars and webinars to major community gatherings — ensuring a seamless, memorable experience for attendees.
  • Manage event logistics, including speaker coordination, registration, vendor partnerships, and day-of execution.
  • Support marketing and communications efforts, including event promotion, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Provide additional administrative support across BVU’s programs to help advance our mission and impact.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in events, marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Canva, WordPress, and social media platforms.
