POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the HR team and employees. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR functions, including onboarding, employee support, and HR systems coordination.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support and coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including pre-employment requirements and system setup.
  • Assist with HRIS data entry and maintenance, ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
  • Provide front-line HR support by responding to general HR inquiries and directing more complex issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with employee record management, including document collection, filing, and compliance tracking.
  • Support new employee orientation logistics and scheduling.
  • Monitor and follow up on onboarding tasks and employment documentation to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with HR reporting and tracking, including new hires, terminations, and leave statuses.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, communications, and coordination of HR processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High School degree required.
  • Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on several projects and manage multiple day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Experience working within and HR department and with an HRIS is a plus.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; experience and success in serving diverse employee and customer populations.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit initiative.

  • Demonstrates attention to detail, performing with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent time management, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
  • HRIS experience or exposure with preference for Dayforce preferred.
