POSITION SUMMARY:
The Y-Haven Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transport of program participants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• The transport of Y-Haven residents to and from Y-Haven and off-site locations in a
safe manner.
• Clean buses daily.
• Report any mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Maintain daily travel log.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification(s) & Requirements:
• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.
• Clean driving record
• 4 hours in-service training every year
• 21 years of age or older
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
• Demonstrate commitment to the mission, cause of the YMCA, and uphold its values and ethics.
• Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and
perceptions

Ability to drive sitting down for entire shift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
