The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is looking for certified Personal Trainers! Successful candidates will possess superior motivation, interpersonal, sales and marketing skills. They are highly motivated and able to work with all demographics of clientele.

$13 for 30 minute sessions and $20 for 60 minute sessions

Responsibilities:

  • Designing customized fitness programs for members based on their current fitness levels, physical challenges, preferences and goals.
  • Advising on safe and effective usage of exercise equipment and participation in YMCA exercise programs.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of each client's program.
  • Conducting fitness assessments and evaluations.

Requirements:

  • National Personal Trainer certification is required and must be continuously maintained.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is required and must be continuously maintained.
  • You will be expected to work 20-25 hours per week, schedule varies based on clientele needs.
  • You might be required to also work as a Wellness Consultant (at a lower rate) until you establish clientele.
  • 1 year experience in personal training, including developing personalized exercise programs for a wide range of individuals, including people with specific health concerns.
  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
