Duties include but are not limited to: Incumbent is responsible for oversight and management of administrative and operational matters within the department. Incumbent leads and directs all personnel administrative processes, with delegated authority from a close coordination and collaboration with the Service Chief and Anesthesia leadership team. Performing or overseeing the full range of human resources requirements, to include position descriptions, functional statements, vacancy announcements, leave accounting, coordinating and facilitating the hiring process Processing of activities for incoming service employees and trainees Maintaining employee competency folders Coordinating credentialing & privileging activities Delegating work to effectively maximize resources and to ensure the efficient, effective, and timely completion of projects Delivery of the full range of administrative services to the Anesthesia leadership Managing budgets Implementing administrative policies; and defining administrative requirements Controls and maintains the Equipment Inventory Listing Oversee travel, learning, response to requests, project development Develop and maintain a safe working environment communicate effectively to management, peers, and subordinates Budget and financial management for the service Supervision of daily service operations Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
