The Resin Engineer will work cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, applications, and global technical teams to support project execution, plant readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives:

  • Support PVC/CPVC resin qualification and raw material evaluation activities to improve supply flexibility, product robustness, and business continuity.

  • Provide engineering support for PVC/CPVC resin technology development, chlorination process improvement, and manufacturing support projects.

  • Lead development, validation, and implementation of PVC/CPVC resin testing capabilities and related technical methods.

  • Analyze experimental, chlorination process, and plant data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend technical actions.

  • Drive digitalization initiatives by directing data cleanup, data linkage, and data structuring for historical and ongoing R&D datasets related to CPVC resin, compounds, formulations, processing conditions, test results, and performance outcomes.

  • Drive PVC/CPVC resin property modeling to better understand structure-property-performance relationships and guide PVC/CPVC resin development, qualification, and performance improvement decisions.

  • Support optimization of PVC/CPVC resin-related chlorination processes through modeling, technical analysis, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Translate lab-scale findings into practical recommendations for plant support, chlorination process improvement, and technology implementation.

  • Maintain and build technical domain knowledge related to PVC/CPVC resin systems, raw material qualification, chlorination process technology, and manufacturing support.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, manufacturing, quality, applications, and global technical teams to ensure timely execution of business-critical project work.

  • Document technical findings, summarize recommendations, and communicate results clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
