The Data Solution Architecture Consultant will be a member of the Data Engineering and Analytics (DEA) team. This position is critical to the design/development of various data products and reporting streams. This includes security, performance, scalability and architecture guidelines for each solution and the organization. The incumbent engages/facilitates with various stakeholders within Information Technology (IT) and the business to identify requirements and determine the appropriate data solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for designing/building data products, legal data layers, data streams, algorithms and reporting systems (i.e. dashboards, front ends).

• Secure the correct designed solution, performance and scalability – Considering appropriate cost control.

• Link data product design with DevOps and infrastructure.

• Act as a reference within and outside the Analytics team.

• Be a technical partner to Data Engineer(s) regarding digital product implementation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related discipline. In lieu of degree 8 or more years of experience in Information Technology.

• 3 or more years of experience in Information Technology

What Will Set You Apart:

· In-depth understanding of database structure principles

· Experience gathering/analyzing system requirements

· Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques

· Expertise in SQL and Oracle

· Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Cognos, SAP Analytics Cloud)

· Proven analytical skills - Problem-solving attitude

· Proven ability to work in distributed systems

· Must be able to develop creative solutions to problems

· Knowledge and strong skills with SQL and noSQL databases and application as Teradata, Redshift, MongoDb or equivalent
