The Pilot of Company Aircraft is responsible for providing safe and efficient domestic and international air travel to support Goodyear’s global business objectives. This role requires operating high-performance turbine aircraft, maintaining proficiency in two aircraft types, and ensuring compliance with FAA and international regulations. The position demands strong technical knowledge, aeronautical decision-making skills, and familiarity with aircraft systems and emergency procedures. Additionally, the pilot interacts with senior executives and external stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism, discretion, and a positive image.
What You'll Do
Ensure safe air transportation for all passengers. Display strong aeronautical decision-making skills, while operating in and out of hundreds of large and small airports, often during periods of adverse weather. Act as the primary point-of-contact for lead passengers during flight activities. Coordinate with the Chief Pilot, Maintenance Manager and Flight Scheduler to address operational issues that could impact the scheduled flight.
Maintain the highest level of knowledge and proficiency to safeguard company personnel and assets. Participate in activities to improve the operational capabilities of the flight department. Complete annual/recurrent training (as outlined in FAR Part 61) to maintain proficiency and competency in assigned aircraft.
Complete administrative duties or projects (as assigned). Actively participate in the department's safety management system. Attend industry seminars/professional development training (as assigned by the Chief Pilot).
What We're Looking For
High School diploma
Airline Transport License (ATP)
FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
Valid US Passport
What Will Set You Apart
3000 total flight hours.
1000 hours pilot in command time.
500 hours of turbine pilot command time.
Experience in international operations, IS-BAO and SMS.
Knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics, instrument flight procedures, FAA regulations, and ICAO international flight rules.
Understanding of the IS-BAO process and safety management system fundamentals.
