The C.W. Courtney Company is a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm located in Mayfield Village Ohio. Our company has proudly provided high quality services to our clients in the northeast Ohio area since 1903. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Civil Designer/Drafter to support our Survey and Civil Design staff. Duties include but are not limited to: Preparation of base maps from field survey data; Preparation of plans and specifications for private and municipal projects; Civil design work under the supervision of a Registered Professional Engineer; Collaboration with Project Managers and project stakeholders; Adherence to, and assistance in the development and improvement of company CADD Standards; Utility research and coordination. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of progressive, directly related work experience; Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required (Bluebeam and MS Office preferred); Ability to work within a team environment; Strong communication and organizational skills; Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Drafting and Design Technology preferred or commensurate experience.
