Survoys Superior Service is expanding our commercial kitchen service capabilities and is seeking a Hot Side Service Technician to support repair and maintenance of commercial cooking equipment. We specialize in long-term service partnerships with restaurant groups, food service operators, and hospitality clients.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing hot-side equipment in active kitchen environments. You will work alongside a collaborative service team while performing field service calls and supporting customers with reliable, professional repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hot-side commercial kitchen equipment (fryers, grills, ovens, toasters, etc.)
- Perform scheduled and on-demand service calls with guidance and support from dispatch and senior technicians
- Assist with identifying required parts and communicate needs to procurement or leadership
- Complete service calls accurately and professionally
- Provide strong customer service in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments
- Document work performed using ERP or service management software
- Follow safety procedures and company standards while working on-site
- Support team efforts to reduce repeat service calls and improve repair efficiency
Qualifications Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair (hot-side preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments
- Basic experience with work order or service management systems
Preferred:
- Experience with cold side repair
- Willingness to learn advanced diagnostics and new equipment types
- Restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and move equipment as needed
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and elevated temperatures
- Ability to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods
- Comfortable using ladders and working at heights when required
- Manual dexterity for electrical and mechanical repairs
