POSITION RESULTS STATEMENT

The Hardscape Field Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing Landscape Development Group (LDG) hardscape projects as directed by the Director of Operations and Sales Team. This role ensures that all assigned projects are completed safely, efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Oversight & Coordination

  • Direct and manage the day-to-day activities of all hardscape crews.
  • Oversee 2–4 hardscape projects concurrently, ensuring workflow efficiency and quality standards.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings with Sales and Foremen to review project scope, timelines, expectations, and logistics.
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding project schedules, progress updates, and any expected adjustments.
  • Schedule and conduct project setup and closeout meetings with customers, the Project Manager, and/or Sales Associate as required.
  • Coordinate with customers and Sales to ensure projects are properly organized before start-up and run smoothly through completion.
  • Manage customer warranty concerns and provide timely, professional resolutions.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and support hardscape crews by setting and managing daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Promote individual and team growth through training recommendations, documentation, and participation in hardscape-focused educational opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and verify that all tools and equipment remain in proper working condition.
  • Enforce company policies while maintaining a positive, team-focused work environment.
  • Review and approve daily timesheets to ensure accuracy in reported labor and materials.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and participate in the hiring and separation processes as needed.
  • Document attendance, including absenteeism, tardiness, and early departures.
  • Mediate conflicts and uphold a constructive, productive team culture.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hardscape installation or construction experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a crew leader or foreman role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
