Born and raised in Cleveland, Tracy Zwick Hammer left to study psychology at the university of Florida. She started cutting hair as a hobby. After spending a few years in California, she moved back home to pursue her true passion – hair! Tracy has worked in the industry and trained with top designers since 1989. Susan Bell began her career in 1978 as a personal assistant at one of the top salons on Chagrin Boulevard. She continued honing her craft with hands on classes at Tony & Guy, Bumble & Bumble and Goldwell academies. Sue has been a mentor to top stylists in the area. When Sue and Tracy met, it was clear they shared a love for their clients and a passion for their craft. A culmination of Sue’s creativity and experience in the industry joined with Tracy’s entrepreneurial spirit and desire for innovation, resulted in the opening of Studio MZ Salon in December of 1993.
