Customer Care Representative

Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour

Contract Type: 6+ Month Contract

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

  • Remote: Monday, Thursday, Friday
  • In?Office: Tuesday, Wednesday, and as needed

Job Summary

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for order entry, customer inquiries, and administrative support for domestic residential and commercial distribution customers. This role requires accuracy, strong ERP experience, and the ability to support customers and internal teams in a fast?paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and process customer orders accurately using SAP ERP
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and account information
  • Perform high?volume data entry with strong attention to detail
  • Review delivery schedules to align with customer delivery requests
  • Communicate order status and updates to internal teams, including Sales, Production, and Logistics
  • Answer customer questions via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Verify inventory levels and provide availability or lead times to customers
  • Coordinate freight quotes through the Logistics Department
  • Arrange shipment of product samples when requested
  • Work with Billing, Credit, Transportation, and other departments to resolve order?related issues
  • Assist with locating out?of?stock materials when needed
  • Complete additional administrative and customer support tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service or customer contact experience
  • ERP system experience required (SAP preferred)
  • Strong data entry and order?processing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and accounts simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
