The Maintenance- Master Technician is accountable to perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant facility and equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power. These duties are to be performed in accordance with all safety rules including the wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment. Maintenance activities include but are not limited to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical work. All duties are to be performed in accordance with all safety rules including site safety permitting and the use of any and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a respirator, that may be required for job tasks.

Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Flexibility will be required
This position is also eligible for a bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have at least two (2) years of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic experience and 1 (one) of the following certificates: Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate, Electrical & Controls Technician Certificate, Mechanical Technician Certificate; or must have at least six (6) years of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic experience if no certification listed is held
Preferred Qualifications
- Have five (5) years of maintenance experience in a Chemical Industrial work environment
- Have a (2) two-year technical or vocational certificate in electrical, plumbing, or related field
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, two motors, or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
- Have knowledge, experience, and ability to weld with MIG or stick in multiple positions
- Have experience and ability fabricating basic parts such as guards or brackets
- Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules, regulations, and requirements.
- Adhere to all safety rules including site and Company safety rules.
- Utilizes various hand and power tools to maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
- Independently troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical components and use of tools such as megger, voltmeter, AMP clamp to trouble shoots components such as contactors, relays etc.
- Working ability to troubleshoot PLC’s and correlate drawings/schematics for programmable logic controls (PLC) to the devices in the field such as proximity switches, encoders, etc.
- Independently determine root causes for breakdowns or malfunctions and methods to correct
- Read and understand pneumatic drawings and symbols and correlate prints to devices in the field
- Obtain, navigate and utilize OEM manuals to assist in diagnosing equipment failures and executing proper repairs per the manufacturer’s guidelines
- Utilize precision measuring devices such as dial calipers for parts research and fabrication processes
- Replace equipment components such as pumps, valves, pipes, hoses, belts, bearings, conveyors, electrical items, etc.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and maintenance projects on plant equipment
- Maintain spare parts and supplies in proper storage locations. Obtain parts and supplies as assigned
- Responsible to keep work and shop areas clean and orderly. Keep tools in good repair
- Perform non-technical / general facility maintenance
- Provide preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling and filling systems
