Sherwin-Williams Global Architectural Marketing is in search of a Digital Content Author Marketing Specialist with 3 - 4 years of professional digital marketing experience. The Digital Content Marketing Specialist will work within a robust eBusiness team to provide content development support for strategic digital content experiences and marketing initiatives to improve the Sherwin-Williams brand presence and performance as well as our customers’ experience online, improve organic traffic and support sales both online and in-stores.

This role will contribute to enhancing Sherwin-Williams’ online brand presence and customer experience by overseeing content authoring, optimization, and publishing across key digital platforms. Oversight of this strategy through partnerships with content authors, cross-functional partners, and agency teams, this role will drive efforts to improve organic traffic, enable sales both online and in-store, and ensure accurate, high-quality digital experiences.

This position is well suited for a professional with 3 – 4 years of content authoring experience looking to oversee content authoring strategy across several digital properties within a business division.

Education: (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED)

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience administering and working within content management systems (CMS)
  • Understanding of digital marketing sphere consisting of digital content and creative development, SEO, SEM, paid support, social media, email marketing, analytics, etc
  • Ability to gather and synthesize conclusions from multiple sources of input (data, from business stakeholders, client research, design, best practices, etc)
  • Experience managing a content or marketing calendar
  • Experience using digital analytics solutions; Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc
  • Experience administering and working within content management systems (CMS)
  • Experience using digital analytics solutions; Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, especially manager-level communication and the ability to tell a compelling story.

Preferred:

  • Ecommerce experience
  • Experience with Adobe solutions, primarily Experience Manager (AEM)


  • Maintain training on Adobe digital content solutions and maintain continual expertise through partnerships with internal and agency subject matter experts and Adobe Learning Center education providers to maintain a continual expert-level knowledge of authoring capabilities, functions and best practices
  • Provide authoring support for web experiences across the GAM portfolio through use of Adobe Experience Manager in support of business objectives and in support of continual customer experience improvements
  • Adhere to efficiency principles of content authoring strategy through strategic mapping of experience fragments, templatization, use of dynamic media, adaptive forms, DAM strategy, etc.
  • Support optimization processes for site content to ensure availability of accurate and consistent information across online customer experiences and touchpoints with a focus on optimization toward SEO/AEO
  • Work cross-functionally with eBusiness teams, Analytics, Data Driven Experience (DDX), Digital Ops and IT to support the business and our customers through AEM to improve authored experiences, support digital product integrations and rollouts, gain improved visibility of engagement through data, capture leads, and increase organic traffic on Sherwin-williams.com
  • Support on-page and technical Search Engine Optimization (SEO/AEO) authoring requirements that manifest through AEM content development
  • Support app messaging solution, Airship, for ongoing development and scheduling of promotional messaging and communications
  • Support for Retail Media Network and Digital Alliance promotional calendar, supporting content development and scheduling of placements and tagging
  • Develop and publish content through Adobe Target in support of targeting strategy, site segmentation, launches and support for lifecycle of Target placements
  • Cultivate ongoing knowledge and expertise on emerging Adobe content management and personalization solutions, facilitating team training and competency across internal authoring support team
