POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to efficiently organize, plan and prioritize work
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must have a high level of customer service skills and abilities
  • Must foster a collaborative team atmosphere with colleagues and service partners
  • Ability to communicate via O365 (Outlook, Teams), tablets, two-way radio, cell phone, etc. in verbal and written form
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple functions
  • Must have the legal right to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with parking garage/lot management
  • High degree of professionalism and customer service
  • Excellent communication skills and displayed ability to partner with others and earn their trust
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

This position exists to service all parking aspects of the Corporate Headquarters (includes GHQ and Higbee). This role supports the Facilities Services and Corporate Real Estate teams in management of the parking garage and surface lots. Responsible for the daily operations of a parking facility, equipment maintenance, safety compliance and customer service.

Administration of Garage & Surface Lots:

(1) Oversee daily parking facility operations for the GHQ parking garage and two surface lots:

  • GHQ Parking garage- 940 spaces
  • GHQ Surface Lot – 175 spaces
  • GHQ Visitor Lot – 125 spaces
  • Monitor the ServiceNow parking module for parking privilege requests and respond accordingly
  • Assign monthly reserved parking spaces
  • Implement and enforce parking policies and access rules

(2) Coordinate and manage parking agreements with third-party parking managers and act as employee liaison for offsite parking information:

  • JACK North Garage – 300 parking spaces:
  • Tower City/Laz Parking – 400 parking spaces
  • Shaia Parking – Global HQ surface lot, weekend and special event parking

(3) Identify and report potential hazards or repair needs promptly, including issues with gate arms, man doors, card access readers, bike racks, garage elevators, etc.

(4) Work with the Services team to coordinate sweeping, cleaning, trash removal, and other maintenance and cleaning services.

(5) Conduct regular site inspections of all onsite parking facilities:

  • Ensure the garage and surface lots meet all safety, cleanliness and compliance standards
  • Ensure that cars parked in ADA spaces display an ADA placard or have an ADA license plate
  • Ensure fire extinguisher maintenance and inspections are conducted monthly

(6) Oversee processes for parking permits, applications, and annual license renewal:

(7) Cultivate and maintain a partnership with the SW Security team for assistance with:

  • Transponder programming and delivery to employees
  • Visitor parking registration
  • Loss, offense, and incident reports
    • In instances involving vehicle accidents, coordinate repair service and reimbursement with employee/guest and SW insurance provider

(8) Coordinate vehicle rescue services with the Facilities Services team. This may include tire inflations, jumpstarting vehicles, spill containment, etc.

(9) Support and oversee operational changes, program improvements, and special projects like striping, signage installation, fence repairs, pressure washing, etc.

(10) Escalate serious and hazardous issues to Manager

(11) Other related duties as assigned by facilities management

Parking Accommodations – 5 dedicated spaces:

  1. Receive and review accommodation requests from HR Business Partners
  2. Assign parking space once the accommodation is approved and communicate parking instructions to the employee
  3. Review database to check for expiration of accommodation parking; request removal of parking access once expired

Financial Duties:

  1. With Manager and/or Financial Analyst oversight, review and monitor parking revenue and monthly payroll deduction reports to find and correct anomalies
  2. Review and approve invoices from third party parking managers for accuracy and lease adherence

Customer Service:

  1. Address employee inquiries, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  2. Arrange parking orientations; explain parking regulations, rules, and procedures to new employees
  3. Closely monitor off-boarding of monthly parking for upcoming retirees
  4. Contact and reeducate employees who erroneously park in reserved spaces that are not assigned to them
  5. Guide customers through the ServiceNow vehicle registration update process

This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.
