This position is accountable for assisting the Sr. Vice President, Architectural R&D and Sr. Staff with effective, efficient and timely administrative support in a wide-ranging variety of routine and non-routine responsibilities. This role will serve as a key role in planning and coordination of numerous R&D management meetings including Monthly Staff Meetings, Extended Staff Meetings, Communication Meetings, Innovation Excellence, Technical Summit and Community Service activities.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Morikis Global Technology Center located at 6745 Miller Road, Brecksville, OH 44141.

BASIC QUALIFICATION:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).

FORMAL EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• Computer knowledge for basic inputting and communication
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel (pivot tables) and/or Power Point
• Familiarity with scheduling global travel
Preferred:
• Experience supporting executive level or department level employees
• Project Management experience
Core responsibilities include:

Administrative support duties for the GSC R&D Sr. Staff including but not limited to creating presentations for employee meetings, ensure room set up, food ordering, assist in scheduling trainings/meetings at multiple R&D locations.
Assist with food ordering and coordinating through the Events & Resource Management team for room reservation, room setup and Technology needs.

Meeting presentation prep and run of show of Sr Staff meetings, Quarterly Extended Staff Meetings and Communication Meetings.
Seek out and collect meeting documents content from all presenters in advance of meetings that will be utilized during meetings.
Create/update, and work with key stakeholders to create/update, meeting presentations and or documents utilized within respective TEAMS folders.
Meeting Timekeeper – keep time and communicate time checks for relevant meeting topic areas as laid out in agendas.
Manage the time checks and the Sr. Staff will determine if agenda timing of topics needs adjusted, tabled or taken to offline follow-up.
Document meeting and action items through meeting minutes. Publish minutes in a timely manner to key attendees and archive them in appropriate electronic location.
Communication and collection Monthly Updates for GSC President & GM meetings.
Create monthly PowerPoint for user access for population and send out notice to Sr. Staff of readiness and completion expectation. Documents should be populated no later than 1 week in advance for GSC Staff Meeting.
Be responsible for “other” presenter’s meeting presented documents organization and run during actual meeting.

Support Secrecy Agreement database for GSC (Sirion)
Interact with legal and technical staff to support and facilitate new and renewed contract management system for agreements.
Track ‘about to expire’ agreements and work with agreement sponsors to determine renewal or expiration.
Prepare technical correspondence, monthly and quarterly reports, management updates, department metrics and budget reports, and presentations for Sr. Staff.
Processing of COUPA for Senior Staff. Additional COUPA Support for the site including, new vendor setup and troubleshooting, submission of Capital Expenses and Professional Services
Time and Attendance Record keeping for department staff; exception tracking as needed.
Developing systems to efficiently improve productivity for self and team.
Assistance with large event coordination, including presenting content (Tech Summit, Retirement celebrations, Anniversary celebrations)
Support talent acquisition and onboarding: Provide consistent operational and administrative support to MGTC Talent Acquisition and Onboarding processes and to HR and hiring managers
Support culture, engagement, and employee experience including the GSC technical internship/early talent programs, engagement activities (e.g., Kids Chemistry Day), knowledge‑sharing forums, and MGTC site tours to build culture and cross‑team collaboration.
