This position is accountable for the daily, weekly, and monthly preparation and analysis of reports for management’s use in fiscal decision making. The Centralized Operation Finance (C.O.F.) Field Support Analyst is also accountable for processing and reporting financial information at our Manufacturing plants across North America in an accurate and timely manner and the implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets. This position will also be expected to perform additional ad-hoc duties relating to P&L reconciliation, budget preparation, expense and capital tracking, and responsibilities as assigned.

This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
  • Must have Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or business
  • Must have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Excel, including writing formulas, formatting and sorting data, creating pivot tables and importing/exporting excel data to and from proprietary software

Preferred Qualification:

  • Have a Master degree or higher in Business Administration
  • Have at least one (1) years of work experience in finance or accounting or have you completed a Sherwin-Williams development program in Finance
  • Have prior work experience managing profit and loss (P&L)
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience in accounting in a manufacturing/distribution environment
  • Have experience preparing an annual budget
  • Have experience with Financial Reporting

  • Assist monthly close of financial data for manufacturing sites in North America
  • Assist in annual financial activities such as budgets, and physical inventory
  • Assist in process improvement projects
  • Help analyze manufacturing costs and explain variances with corrective actions
  • Support team in being a business partner to different sites
  • Help review monthly P&L summaries for anomalies, investigate and report findings
  • Assist with Fixed Asset closing, purchasing (PO’s, requisitions, etc.), work orders and other miscellaneous tasks as required by manufacturing sites
  • Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed
