Financial Reporting Systems Admin Manager

Job Description

The Financial Reporting System Administrative Manager supports the technical creation, standardization, delivery and automation of global financial management reports that provide key insights to our business results. This position also works heavily alongside the OneStream Business team for support during reorganizations, implementations, upgrades and patches.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Manage a team to support, develop and enhance the application and its processes in a manner that will result in an efficient and stable production environment for global reporting.
  • OneStream Reporting
    • Design, develop, implement and support all new report build and dashboarding capabilities in OneStream via Cube View reports, along with on-going maintenance of existing reporting.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to answer data & reporting questions and ensure reports meet business needs.
    • Maintain and distribute existing reports, books, and dashboards through parcel service.
    • Lead OneStream report training to new hires and existing users with a broad range of experience.
  • OneStream Business / IT team
    • Coordinate with the OneStream Business team for support during OneStream reorganizations, implementations, upgrades and patches.
    • Generate clear and concise communications of reporting changes to update leadership across Enterprise Finance.
  • Other responsibilities
    • Build reports, spreadsheets and dashboards using multiple data sources to meet business requirements.
    • Collaborate with partners in Enterprise Finance, Division Finance, and IT to improve data collection processes, enhance existing reports and data sources, discuss requirements, work on cross-functional projects and share best practices.
    • Participate in projects to support Enterprise Finance process and governance when needed.
    • Understand global financial processes and update key inputs and outputs as new processes are implemented.
    • Support Acquisition and Divestiture activities through meaningful and accurate reporting.
    • Maintain operating process documentation.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Working knowledge of financial reporting systems (OneStream: cube views, quick views, books, dashboarding, BI Blend)

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Oracle General Ledger
  • Experience with various other internal reporting applications (Visual Basic, SQL, FactFinder, OBIEE, Tableau, MicroStrategy, OnBase, Mobius)

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Ability to effectively manage others.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Competency in developing and analyzing reports.
