Sales & Client Management

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries and log activity within a CRM system
• Conduct on-site visits to gather technical requirements and define project scope
• Prepare and manage detailed proposals and quotations for field system solutions
• Track and manage active opportunities through the full sales cycle
• Support conversion of proposals into awarded projects or orders
• Clearly communicate technical scope, deliverables, and system requirements to both clients and internal teams
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution through delivery and invoicing

Project Management (Small to Mid-Sized Projects)

• Review and interpret project scope based on awarded work
• Develop project plans, timelines, and task assignments
• Lead or participate in internal and customer-facing project meetings
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and financial metrics using ERP systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and other departments
• Manage change orders and communicate scope adjustments with clients
• Ensure projects are executed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with financial targets

Systems & Process Ownership

• Maintain proficiency in internal systems such as ERP, CRM, and project/resource management tools
• Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and efficiencies
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the business and division grow

Key Requirements

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field plus 2–5 years of experience,
• OR
• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or manufacturing environments
• Preferred Experience
• Background in controls integration, automation systems, or similar technical environments
• Familiarity with basic accounting or project financials
