Job Title:
CNC Mill/Lathe Operator/Set-up
Pay Rate:
$22 - $31 PER HOUR BOE

Hours:
Monday through Thursday
6AM-430PM

Occasional OT on Friday 6am-430pm

Job Description:
Job Summary: Set up & operate CNC Mill/Lathe to change, load/unload & produce parts
Responsibilities:
• Monitor & maintain equipment such as lubricant & cooling levels
• Apply basic concepts of Alegra & Geometry
• Avidly interpret Blueprints

Location: Akron
Dress Code: STEEL TOED SHOE/BOOTS

CNC Mill & Lathe Operations. $20- $24 per hour BOE
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Operate programmed machinery to change, load/unload, and produce parts to specified design.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
• Inspect items as instructed and provide feedback to management to ensure any quality defects can be avoided in the future.
• Inspect parts per blueprint as instructed.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Monitor and maintain lubrication and coolant levels / points.
• Clean up job site after work and return equipment and tools.
• Supply own basic hand and measuring tools.
Requirements / Competencies Expected:

• Ability to read blueprints
• Must demonstrate job responsibility consistency
• Requires the ability to read and follow detailed written and/or verbal instructions
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn different part/machine setups and operations.
• Must demonstrate regular attendance
