Job Description
We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing Production Team Lead. This is a 1st Shift role (M-T, 5:30AM – 3:30PM), in the Final Assembly department. You will perform different electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Your Responsibilities:
- Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions
- Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and in defined time frame
- We use different tools, including Component Lead Cutters and Crimpers, and Forming and Insertion Press Fixtures. Additionally, we use Wire Strippers, Wire Luggers, and Hand Tools. Our equipment also includes Fully Automated Test Systems, Torque Drivers, and Lifting Fixtures. Furthermore, we employ a Stud Welder, Green Lee Punch, and Heavy Wire Lugging. Other tools at our disposal are a DIN Rail Cutter, Band Saw, Custom Lifting Fixtures, and Hoist & Crane.
- Comfortable working from elevated surfaces
- Read and interpret engineering assembly drawings and electrical schematics
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 4 years of verified related experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires 4 years of previous related experience.
