Are you mechanically inclined with an eye for precision? We're hiring an experienced Slitter & Setup Operator to process steel coil to exact specifications. If you know your way around calipers, motors, and overhead cranes, we want to talk to you!

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate slitting equipment to process steel coil to specified widths
• Monitor quality and tolerances throughout the run, adjusting as needed
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy
• Perform setup adjustments involving motors and mechanical components
• Safely operate and handle double overhead crane equipment to move coil and materials
• Accurately record production and quality results
• Follow all safety procedures in a fast-paced steel processing environment

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior slitter, setup, or steel processing experience preferred
• Strong math skills and comfort using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Crane operating experience, including double overhead crane handling
• Mechanical aptitude — comfortable working with motors and equipment adjustments
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
