- Support slitting equipment troubleshooting, including slitters, knives, arbors, tension systems, and recoilers
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action for equipment failures
- Assist with installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of new machinery
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance procedures, schedules, and equipment records

- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout, and identify and correct potential hazards
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production team members
What You Bring

- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and other industrial electrical components
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and basic PLC troubleshooting
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems or maintenance records
A plus:
- Experience with metal processing, slitting, converting, coil handling, or similar heavy manufacturing equipment
- Any certification related to electrical building and machinery maintenance
Skills that set you apart:

- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple issues in a fast-paced environment
