As a category manager for the Corporate Procurement team, you’ll oversee large spend categories and lead strategic sourcing for our operations and Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll develop and execute sourcing and procurement plans for product and service categories. You’ll manage supplier relationships, drive cost reductions, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You’ll also prioritize market research, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and analyze spend data. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize value and efficiency within their spend categories.
This is a hybrid role, which means you’ll work in the office one day a week.
Must-have qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of five years of experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years of experience in contract administration and maintaining vendor relationships or related work experience.
Preferred skills
- Three or more years of procurement experience, specifically in sourcing Human Resources and Operational services, and managing suppliers' performance.
- Experience with vendor and contract management (direct category management experience).
- Working knowledge of the Coupa platform;
- Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office with demonstrated skills in Excel – including the ability to create, manipulate, and formulate spreadsheets – including v-look-up, tables, charts, and graphing.
Compensation
- $72,100 - $116,300/ year depending on position level and experience
- Gainshare cash incentive up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
