Location: Mentor, OH 44060
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM (may extend to 3:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

About the Program

This Day Treatment Center is a therapeutic school serving K–12 students with emotional and behavioral needs that cannot be adequately supported in a traditional public-school setting.

The program brings together licensed mental health professionals and experienced educational staff to provide a structured, therapeutic learning environment where students can stabilize, grow, and succeed.

Position Overview

The Administrative Office Support role is a highly visible position and serves as the public face of the program. This individual will support daily front-office operations while assisting with internal projects in a student-focused environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and timely manner

  • Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls according to established standards

  • Provide administrative support for internal projects and daily operations

  • Perform word processing, data entry, filing, and document distribution

  • Maintain and operate office equipment (phone, copier, fax, etc.)

  • Monitor and coordinate records, program materials, intake documents, and schedules

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while serving as front-office support

  • Complete all assigned work accurately and within required timeframes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of two (2) years of general office experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor

  • Detail-oriented, diligent, and results driven

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing front-office demands

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods

  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs as needed

  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment
