As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Check modernization and Teller team organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, or Strongsville, OH, or Birmingham, AL or Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX.

PNC Bank is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions that power our digital and enterprise platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver technology solutions that meet business needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring others, and contributing to modern engineering practices within a large, regulated environment.

Candidates must have prior experience with:
• 8+ years of experience with JAVA, Microservices, Spring Boot, WebSphere, Windows Server, Linux server preferred.
• 6+ years of experience with Check applications including Adjustments in Banking industry preferred.

• Strong debugging skills for Java/J2EE applications
• Experience in performance tuning, JVM profiling, capacity planning, critical path analysis

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $179,400.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
