We're looking for an experienced Residential Estimator/Purchasing Manager to join our team who has 3+ years of experience. The ability to be organized, communicate effectively, and multi-task are essential to this role. Perks of working as a Residential Estimator/Purchasing Manager: 401k up to 4% match, 100% of Health Insurance premium paid by employer, PTO, substantial performance-based Company Bonus. Pay: $75,000 plus bonuses - negotiable based on experience. Typical day in the life as a Residential Estimator/Purchasing Manager: Calculate quantities and costs of construction items for estimating of new home and renovation projects; Development and research of new trade partners and vendors; Research material, labor, and equipment pricing for cost estimating; Enter, calculate and research data into computer utilizing specific cost estimating software programs; Assist in the scope of work of multiple trades to ensure nothing is missed for the project team; Assist field team in estimating substantial change orders. What are we looking for? Minimum of 3+ years’ experience estimating commercial and or residential construction projects; Familiar with current residential pricing/costs and cost coding; Must be experienced in quantity take-offs; Must have the ability to lead a project estimate; Must have the ability to read drawings and interpret specifications; Computer skills required – Microsoft Project, MC2, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Bluebeam or equal, Chief Architect, Buildertrend, etc.; Knowledge of the Cleveland market is required.
