We produce ready to eat hamburger buns and English muffins for some of the most iconic brands. Compensation & Benefits: $20.43+ per hour starting pay, paid weekly. Job Summary and Responsibilities: Slice/fork and bag finished product according to specifications/standards. Summary of Essential Job Functions Visually inspect equipment for sanitary conditions prior to starting. Ensure machine is set up properly prior to starting – guards, catch pans, etc. in place. Make sure product is packed in proper packaging. Must understand and do all variety change overs. Make sure packages are properly sealed and coded. Ensure ingredients lot codes and ingredient packages sound and clean. Test and verify the metal detector according the the approved procedure. Perform quality checks to ensure product meets specifications. Clean and maintain machine in a food safe manner. Set up line for different product runs during change over or shut down. Lift and place full rolls of poly on Ropak wrapper (50 to 65 lbs/4 to 6 times per shift). Ensure supplies for the line are stocked as needed. Tear down machine as necessary. Trouble shoot machine issues with supervision. Communicate any product or machine issues with supervision or QA. Record finished production numbers and lot information on tally sheets. Maintain lot number sheet for all ingredients and packaging. Fill and monitor ingredient hoppers. Check schedule recap report for production run information. Set up machines for variety according to specifications. Blow or brush (use proper color) off conveyors on machines during a variety change only and as needed. Put catch pans in place. Ensure blue gloves are in supply to handle finished product. Keep area clean, sweeping floor and emptying catch pans as needed. Empty product rejects, and floor sweepings into proper waste containers. Dump full barrels (trash, scrap) into proper containers. Responsible for maintaining good safety practices at all times. Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the work area. Responsible for following all GMP’s. Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervision. Make sure coding is legible.
