Mars Electric is seeking motivated recent college graduates to join our Operations Leadership Development Program — a hands-on pathway designed to build the next generation of distribution operations leaders.

This structured program provides immersive experience across Warehouse, and Logistics Operations, preparing participants for leadership opportunities.

Participants develop practical leadership skills through structured assessments, cross-functional projects, formal training, and executive mentoring that builds the foundation for a long-term leadership career at Mars.

Program Responsibilities

  • Complete a structured 2-year rotational program across Warehouse, and Logistics Operations
  • Participate in professional leadership assessments (e.g., DiSC, Hogan Personality)
  • Attend skills development and compliance training, including:
    • Effective communication
    • Coaching and motivating employees
    • Leadership fundamentals
    • Workplace compliance & diversity training
  • Develop an Individual Development Plan (IDP) in partnership with an assigned mentor
  • Meet with mentor quarterly to review progress, goals, and developmental experiences
  • Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, including cross-functional initiatives
  • Complete assigned NAED (National Association of Electrical Distributors) product knowledge training modules
  • Gain systems proficiency through training in Eclipse ERP and Microsoft Office tools
  • Present CI project outcomes and operational recommendations to leadership
  • Track and complete all learning milestones and development objectives
