| Grow with a Growing Company! Mars Electric is currently searching for a Wire Machine Operator in our warehouse operations located in Mayfield Village, OH. Duties and Responsibilities • Restock and replenish wire on wire cutting racks. • Thoroughly examine order to accurately determine appropriate size reel and type, size and color of wire needed to complete order. • Correctly measure wire, load wire on machine and operate all machinery in a safe manner that follows company safety standards. • Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label. • Carefully unload empty reels and reload new reels onto the machine. • Answer phone calls that come through the wire room in a courteous, polite, and professional manner. Other Duties: • Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment. • Perform all tasks following designed procedures and processes with a high level of accuracy and minimal supervision. • Maintain organization and housekeeping of wire area. Requirements, Skills & Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required. • Strong mathematical ability and basic computer skills. • Good communication skills; time management skills; and organizational skills. • Ability to perform duties with minimal or no supervision. • Reliable transportation and good attendance at any previous employment. • Professional and courteous attitude; be an energetic team player; and able to work with diverse personalities. • Forklift experience required. • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb, lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. • Demonstrated commitment to safety, customer service and efficiency in past roles duties or responsibilities required of an incumbent.
