Job Description
The Junior Accountant will serve as a key member of the Finance team, assisting the Chief Financial Officer the processing of transactions and maintenance of data within the ERP system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and communicating with external customers to ensure timely collections.
• Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Create, update, and maintain project records within the company’s ERP system and Salesforce to support operational and financial tracking.
• Generate and administer purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflows.
• Enforce compliance with state and federal grant requirements, maintaining accurate records and supporting regulatory reporting.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and established accounting policies to support financial integrity.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits, tax filings, and grant reporting, ensuring completeness and timely submission.
Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements
• Zero to two years of experience working in accounting is required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
• Previous accounting or finance experience, including internships, is preferred

Pay Band:
• $50,000-$60,000 a year
