Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry's consistent dedication to treating chronic needs, helping people to self-sufficiency, and fighting for system change enables them to empower, value, and heal people who are oppressed, forgotten, and wounded. LMM seeks to change the social, political, and religious conversation about justice from one of limitations to one of possibilities by serving as a facilitator and organizer for meaningful dialogue. LMM develops innovative approaches for persons who are homeless, at-risk children, disadvantaged older adults, people touched by the criminal justice system, and people with conduct problems, focusing on housing and shelter, workforce development, and health and wellness services.
