LUNA - Cleveland

We are looking to hire at our Midtown Production facility.

• Hours of shifts run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (6am -2pm)
• Job will eventually turn full time with our new location opening this fall/winter, making the schedule Monday - Friday (6am-2pm)
• Experience required
• Drivers license required
• Will deliver internal orders, such a product between the production facility and cafes, as well as external product, such as catering orders to businesses.

JOB SUMMARY

Luna Bakery & Cafe shares the experience of real food, scratch pastry and local coffee in a cozy space where delighting our guests is our top priority. In 2011 we opened our first location in Cleveland Heights and opened our 2nd location in Moreland Hills in 2018. In the summer of 2021 we opened our production facility in Midtown, Cleveland. At this facility we produce the majority of the sweet pastries sold at the cafes each day, as well as our custom cake shop and sugar cookie department. Luna opened their most recent location in Downtown Cleveland.

Luna is a fast paced cafe where we craft daily breakfast and lunch, scratch pastry and local coffee drinks.

Position Summary:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of catering orders to our customers, as well as transferring products between our locations. You will play a key role in ensuring our brand’s quality and service standards are upheld on every delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver catering orders to customers on schedule and in excellent condition
• Perform internal transfers of product between production facility and café locations
• Ensure accurate order packing and delivery according to checklists
• Provide excellent customer service at drop-off locations; be professional, courteous, and helpful
• Communicate with team members regarding delivery timelines or issues
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues
• Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Previous delivery experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Familiarity with GPS or delivery routing apps
