LUNA - DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND

We are looking to hire at our Downtown Cleveland Cafe!

• Hours of shifts we are looking to fill are Monday - Friday (430am - 12pm)
• We are looking to hire applicants with prior large volume baking experience.
• Very early morning shifts, employee needs to be reliable
• Once morning bake is complete, team member would shift to helping the line with catering orders

JOB SUMMARY

Luna Bakery & Cafe shares the experience of real food, scratch pastry and local coffee in a cozy space where delighting our guests is our top priority. In 2011 we opened our first location in Cleveland Heights and opened our 2nd location in Moreland Hills in 2018. We opened our Midtown production facility in August 2021 in order to continue to grow our Luna family and serve the Cleveland area. We recently opened our Downtown Cleveland Cafe in August of 2023.

Luna is a fast paced cafe where we craft daily breakfast and lunch, scratch pastry and local coffee drinks.

We hire passionate, kind & humble employees who embrace our mission of cultivating authentic food and relationships while enriching our community and environment. We close at 3pm daily, so perfect for someone looking to get out of the late night restaurant grind. There is lots of growth potential and we love to promote from within.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work alongside a team of cooks, bakers and dishwashers
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Prepares bakery items according to recipes
• Baking from scratch - following exact recipes/measurements
• Responsible for quality assurance of pastry
• Restock FOH pastries and rotates products
• Report to Kitchen Manager
• Assist in executing catering orders and special orders
• Abide by all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Problem solver & strong communication skills
• Provide amazing customer service to our guests
• Work closely with FOH to provide a seamless guest experience

Job Type: Full Time

Original schedule upon onboarding would be as such:

Monday - Friday (430am - 12pm)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
