Full Time Nursing Program Navigator
Lorain County Community College
The incumbent will collaborates with the Nursing Programs Administrator, Nursing Recruitment Team, and College Enrollment Services Department to assure seamless progression of the student that is seeking the nursing pathway; Serve as a student support and liaison to the nursing program; Assist with development of student program progression forms; Track and follow up with High School students in the nursing pipeline; Communicates regularly with students to make sure progression forms and course work is completed; Collect and summarize nursing program cohort data; Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Strong organizational and coordination skills; Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to prioritize and reprioritize quickly; Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative, customer service oriented, team environment; Ability to work with varying age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds; Critical thinking skills.
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Higher Education experience; nurse/nursing background
