Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services and under the supervision of the Manager for Student Success Programs, the Staff Assistant will be responsible for knowing detailed information about Enrollment Services as a whole as well as the Student Success Programs offered at Lorain County Community College, specifically the Student’s Accelerating In Learning program. Additionally, the Staff Assistant will be responsible for knowing key information about the College and the various Academic Divisions in order to make appropriate referrals and provide support to the recruitment process for the student success programs and the institution overall. Working with students in a proactive and student-centered approach with excellent customer service skills is a daily part of the position.


Required Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent learning, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PeopleSoft experience, ability to multi-task, stellar customer service skills, ability to flourish in a team environment. Extensive experience with computer software is essential.


Preferred Qualifications: Associate Degree, experience with a student information system.
