In 1983, I opened a second location in neighboring community, Cuyahoga Falls. I again worked alone for the first three months to get the store launched. Both locations continued to grow in tire sales, and employees were added as the business developed. The period between 1986 and 1987 was a time of rapid growth. As our tire business continued to grow, I added wheel related automotive services. Brakes, alignments, and all related parts and services were added to our menu of business. In 1995, my son Ben joined the business after college and working at a motorcycle sales and service business. In 2002, my son Andy joined the business after college and working as an auditor for a large accounting firm. Ben and Andy now manage the business. In 2014 Ken retired, and in 2016 I transitioned complete control into their hands. I do however still assist at the sales counter during busy times and continue to schedule and produce our newspaper and radio advertising, and am learning and developing the web and social media marketing.
