A few words from business founder Dennis Leipold: "I opened a tire store in Stow, Ohio in 1975. I worked alone for the first three months, then hired my brother Ken. We worked together and built a base of customers by delivering a high degree of personal service that developed a family type relationship that resulted in referral and repeat business growth." "In 1983, I opened a second location in neighboring community, Cuyahoga Falls. I again worked alone for the first three months to get the store launched. Both locations continued to grow in tire sales, and employees were added as the business developed. The period between 1986 and 1987 was a time of rapid growth. As our tire business continued to grow, I added wheel related automotive services. Brakes, alignments, and all related parts and services were added to our menu of business." "In 1995, my son Ben joined the business after college and working at a motorcycle sales and service business. In 2002, my son Andy joined the business after college and working as an auditor for a large accounting firm. Ben and Andy now manage the business. In 2014 Ken retired, and in 2016 I transitioned complete control into their hands. I do however still assist at the sales counter during busy times and continue to schedule and produce our newspaper and radio advertising, and am learning and developing the web and social media marketing." "In 2015 my grandson Landon finished his college degree in Automotive technology and joined the family business. Then in 2021 my grandson Logan finished his term in the United States Marines and joined the family business the third generation is now learning and practicing the family recipe for customer service and then family-owned, " Family owned, Customer driven" business."
