Summary

    Manage and oversee the Commercial Credit Quality Assurance program, which includes setting strategy, leading quarterly testing and reporting processes, and driving ongoing enhancements. Program includes reperformance testing for 1LOD as well as 2LOD Asset Recovery Group testing and other ad-hoc, targeted testing.

    Oversee RCSA governance and testing for Commercial Credit Risk, including implementation, coordination, oversight, execution, validation and ongoing development. Primary point of contact for Commercial Credit risks, controls, and testing.

    Develop and lead targeted testing, monitoring, and analysis for credit risk concerns and areas of focus across various areas of commercial lending.


    Partner across lines of defense to drive cohesive testing, risk identification and mitigation, and alignment with enterprise-wide policies and programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee Commercial Credit Quality Assurance program, including ongoing management of strategy, plan documentation, testing scripts, and procedures
      • Target program to help assure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and processes as well as industry standards and regulations
    • Lead, train and coach analysts with testing and review responsibilities; maintain central oversight over all reviews and perform Quality Assurance reviews as needed
    • Develop and share insights and observations from testing; leverage observations to help drive continuous improvement ideas, as well as identification of gaps or deterioration in policy, processes or work quality
    • Prepare and deliver quarterly reporting to business leaders, internal partners, and Credit Risk Committee
    • Facilitate arbitration of exception disputes, working across lines of defense and leveraging Credit leadership to address escalations with confidence and collaboration
    • Partner across lines of defense to continuously improve testing framework and processes
    • Maintain oversight and direction for Commercial Credit Risk taxonomy within Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
    • Manage RCSA testing for Commercial Credit, including operating assessment and validation testing
    • Represent Commercial Credit Risk in reviewing and challenging 1LOD RCSA efforts
    • Partner across Credit Risk to ensure that Risk Metrics remain updated and reported in GRC in a timely manner
    • Support remediation, internal audit and regulatory exams as needed
    • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $79,000.00 - $146,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
