Your Opportunity as the Assistant Brand Manager, Café Bustelo

Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires
In this role you will:
Market & Competitor Analysis
Evaluates data and market trends impacting the business to develop strong recommendations and strategies.
Develops actionable insights and strong roadmaps through close collaboration with base brand team, sales, and insights/reporting team.
Catalog relevant competitive and consumer information relating to respective categories (IRI Panel Data, NPD, Consumer Studies, etc.) to feed the business planning process.
Brand and Marketing Management
Support Senior Brand Manager in leading development of annual brand plans and marketing objectives, including gaining alignment up to the VP level on all strategies and recommended initiatives.
Identify growth opportunities for the portfolio, showcasing size of prize and significance to gain buy-in. Develop road-map for long-term success of total portfolio.
Assisting in development & tracking of long-range and annual operating plan.
Partner with CCB and Sales to develop channels strategies including implications for assortment, merchandising, pricing and sizing, new business opportunities, and tracking of new item distribution and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in the development of new product ideas and platforms, product improvements or value engineering, and new product activation strategies, taking approved projects through the Stage Gate process.
Work with Creative Services and graphics agency to optimize and bring new packaging graphics to market that support brand positioning.
General Administrative
Management of the Marketing budgets
Foster, contribute and lead, as appropriate, communication flow across disciplines
Understand data reporting systems including Circana.
Service ad hoc information requests from Marketing Team
Hand raise for one-off tasks / projects that pop up throughout the year
What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required (Marketing or Business degree is preferred)
2 years of relevant CPG brand marketing experience
Experience manipulating/analyzing syndicated data (preferably IRI or Nielsen) to tell a marketing story and/or make recommendations about the business
Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Detail Oriented
Data/system knowledgeable/savvy
Strong communication and leadership skills
Demonstrated analytical strength
Experience tracking & optimizing business results, driving projects with cross functional excellence
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
