PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT. Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP) seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Accountant to oversee property-level financial operations for a portfolio of commercial properties. Maintain GL accounts and business transactions across multiple properties, applying GAAP and Tax Accounting; provide financial statements and cash flow; collaborate with Lease Administration and Property Management to maximize asset performance. Duties and Responsibilities: maintain financial records; perform month-end close (complex bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis); review vendor invoices for accuracy and process for payment; assist with preparation/review of annual budgets and multiyear planning; prepare year-end financials/schedules for CPA review and post year-end tax adjustments; review cash flow and transfers; prepare CAM reconciliations and communicate over/short; review leases for correct account inclusion; prepare/review tenant invoices and rent increase letters; prepare/record/file monthly sales tax; research/interpret data to answer accounting/financial questions; develop/implement accounting procedures; support accounting/property management software; assist with loan document compliance. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years staff-level accounting; commercial real estate experience with Lease Administration/Property Management a plus; strong accounting knowledge and IT systems use; excellent verbal/written communication; detail-oriented; ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasks; excellent analytical/problem-solving; proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); MRI experience a plus; self-directed with ability to meet demanding timelines.
