Summary
The Data & Reporting Manager serves as a strategic leader and the primary liaison between data producers, data consumers, and agile delivery teams within the Credit Modernization program. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the data strategy and roadmaps, ensuring quality, comprehensive, and accurate data is delivered across the enterprise.
The manager oversees all data and reporting functionality that supports regulatory, financial, operational, compliance, and merger & acquisition (M&A) requirements. Acting as a hybrid Product Manager / Product Owner, the role partners across Business, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to define data use cases, guide agile delivery, and ensure reporting ecosystems are accurate, transparent, and scalable.
This role provides direct leadership to a team of Product Analysts and/or Business Systems Analysts who support data requirements, reporting development, and delivery execution.

Compensation Range
93,000.00 - 189,000.00 Annual
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Data Leadership
- Define and evolve the Credit Modernization data strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Partner with Product Leaders to build long‑term data-related product roadmaps and OKRs.
- Identify emerging data needs, particularly those tied to regulatory, financial, and risk‑driven initiatives.
- Lead and oversee reporting processes supporting regulatory, financial, and compliance requirements.
- Translate reporting requirements into detailed data specifications, mapping logic, and validation procedures.
- Maintain strong governance practices including lineage, documentation, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
- Lead all Data & Reporting activities related to M&A events, including ownership of the end-to-end data conversion strategy, integration planning, and post‑merger reporting alignment.
- Oversee the completion of detailed analysis of source/target systems, field-level mapping and transformation logic.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Technology, and Integration teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reporting during and after the transaction lifecycle.
- Directly manage a team of Product Analysts and Business Systems Analysts, ensuring coverage across regulatory reporting, financial reporting, operational data needs, and modernization features.
- Set priorities, allocate capacity, and align analyst work to roadmap commitments and enterprise reporting needs.
- Ensure data features are fully prepared for execution with clear requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain a continuous flow of prioritized work through agile teams by removing blockers and sequencing initiatives effectively.
- Serve as a primary escalation channel for delivery risks and partner with leadership on mitigation strategies.
- Establish best practices for documentation, requirements analysis, data validation, and reporting logic design.
- Serve as a liaison with business partners to clarify data and reporting needs across functional groups including Product, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and M&A Integration teams.
- Facilitate workshops and structured sessions to analyze reporting requirements and data impacts.
- Ensure transparent communication of roadmap progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data management, reporting, analytics, or financial services.
- Experience leading data workstreams for M&A integrations.
- Experience managing Product Analysts or Business Systems Analysts.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master experience.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, SQL/SOQL, and visualization tools.
- Strong partnerships with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and M&A teams.
- On‑time delivery of data and reporting roadmap priorities.
