Assists with the daily operation of the Resale Shop. Supervises and delegates assignments to volunteer staff.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assists Resale Shop Manager with:
- Pricing/research
- Sorting, pricing and other backroom tasks
- Preparing weekly net and gross sales reports
- Advertising and marketing
- Opening/closing store
- Maintaining wish book
- Assisting Development Office with mailing list
- Maintaining donation thank you acknowledgements
- Preparing floor and window displays
- Recording sales
- Sales
- Housekeeping
- Supervises and trains volunteer staff; delegates work assignments as needed to fulfill resale function in a timely an efficient manner.
- Provides Director of Volunteers with volunteer hours worked on monthly basis.
- Monitors and orders office/shop supplies.
- Attends monthly Resale Shop staff meetings and records meeting minutes.
- Attends Volunteer meetings.
- Acts in place of manager in his/her absence.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manger to maintain daily operations.
SUCCESS CAPABILITIES:
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Retail and supervisory experience.
- Good customer relation skills.
- Good physical endurance.
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with wide variety of people.
- Ability to work flexible schedule with occasional weekend and/or evening hours.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Compliance to Annual Flu Shot Policy or ability to provide exemption documentation
- Provide an active auto insurance policy as a licensed driver in the State of Ohio with the proper level of coverage as directed
- Provide an active driver’s license
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism.
