We are looking for a Recruiting and Talent Development Specialist to help us find, grow, and support the people who make it all happen. This isn’t just about paperwork—it’s about people, culture, and creating a work environment where our seasonal and full-time team members thrive. The ideal candidate will be a strategic business partner to the leadership team as a key member of management, collaborating closely with department heads to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and drive operational success.

What You’ll Do

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define roles, build processes, and identify top talent.
  • Coordinate with the service and aquatic management team, including them in the recruitment process.
  • Recruit for local roles, including aquatics staff, technicians, and operational support.
  • Conduct background checks and ensure quality hires.

Onboarding & Training

  • Build and manage a comprehensive onboarding process.
  • Coordinate weekly remote onboarding sessions for new hires.
  • Lead onboarding during peak season, including payroll setup, Paylocity, handbook presentation, and policy review.
  • Support training for staff to include scheduling, safety, and benefits.

HR Operations

  • Serve as the local resource for employee benefits and payroll.
  • Manage company uniform program.
  • Coordinate attendance of NEO safety meetings and support safety initiatives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Organize employee appreciation and recognition initiative and events.

Process Development

  • Build out and continuously improve recruiting, onboarding, and HR processes.
  • Update and clarify the employee handbook, present updates during seasonal kickoff meetings and throughout the year as needed.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • A people-first professional with 2+ years in recruiting and HR.
  • Someone who’s organized, adaptable, and comfortable presenting to employees and leaders.
  • A natural relationship-builder who can collaborate with leaders and employees alike.
  • Tech-comfortable (Paylocity, Microsoft Office) with a solid grasp of HR best practices.
