Gross plumbing, inc. Started in 1956 as gross hardware by edward j. Gross (retired). The hardware business presented opportunities to do work for people who were not able to perform the work on their own. Gross hardware grew into gross plumbing and electric company; which performed new and repair work. In 1964, a decision was made to specialize in plumbing and hydronic heating. Gross plumbing, inc. Was created after the division and quickly evolved into one of the area’s leading mechanical contractors. Gross plumbing, inc. Performs commercial, institutional, and industrial plumbing, hvac, and fire protection work. Our projects range in size from service/repair work to projects exceeding the low-mid seven figure range. In 1990, the company started its own sheet metal division for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, with an emphasis in the commercial, healthcare and industrial areas.
