Mortgage Banker — Refi Focus

Green Lending is Kent State University’s exclusive mortgage lender, helping clients make the refinance and homeownership process easier, faster, and less stressful. We’re big on great communication, getting things done, and always finding ways to improve.

We’re looking for a Mortgage Banker who knows mortgages, enjoys working with people, and can keep a loan moving from start to finish.

What you’ll do:

• Work with clients through the refinance and mortgage process
• Review income, credit, assets, and overall financials
• Recommend the right loan options
• Collect documents and keep loans moving toward closing
• Work with processors, underwriters, and closing teams
• Stay on top of your pipeline and communicate with clients
• Build relationships with referral partners
• Help make our processes better and more efficient

What we’re looking for:

• Mortgage lending or loan origination experience
• Solid understanding of conventional and residential mortgages
• Strong communication and follow-through
• Comfortable working with clients, numbers, and deadlines
• Knowledge of mortgage compliance and NMLS requirements
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid environment
• NMLS license/eligibility preferred
• High school diploma required; degree is a plus
