Our Medina, OH location has immediate openings for experienced Welder / Fabricators for long-term, full-time employment. Fabricating and welding a variety of custom augers to prints and sketches in our air-conditioned shop. Some production welding required. Drugfree Company (pre-employment screening required). Random and reasonable cause testing is also conducted. 1st shift employment, (4) – 10 hour days, 5am – 3:30pm, Monday thru Thursday. Ideal candidates will have experience in: Steel Fabrication: Fabricating carbon, stainless and low alloy steels; Blueprint Reading and Weld Symbols (AWS and ISO); Weld joint prep; Hand plasma and oxy/fuel torches. Welding: Welding Machine Set-up; Mig/Tig welding and hardfacing of carbon, stainless and low alloy steels using solid and flux-cored wire. Finishing of welds (chipping, grinding, sanding). Material Handling: Towmotor and Overhead Crane use. Math and Measurement Skills: Tape measure, Scale, Calipers, Fillet weld gauge. Problem Solving: Troubleshooting and Decision making.
